The Miners Memorial

The Miners Memorial will be a tribute to the miner's of West Virginia's coal mining industry.

The Federal No.3 Miners Memorial will proudly display the names of the 149 miners who bravely perished in the mine, including those who died in the fateful mine explosion in 1927. Both faces of the memorial will list the names of the miners and the year of their death. The Miner's Logo will also display above the memorial on both faces. The memorial itself will stand eighteen feet long, with the raised miner's logo spanning three feet in width. The memorial will stand a total of eight feet tall.

Without the help of community experts like Mr. Stutler, projects such as the Miners Memorial Park would not be possible.
